Franconia Notch Regional Chamber of Commerce and Dennis Hartwell have begun the planning and preparations for the 2018 parade. Dennis stated in a recent email that “We are preparing for the 2018 Franconia Old Home Day Parade, scheduled for Saturday, July 7, 2018.”  This annual town tradition is part of a day long celebration in the town of Franconia complete with a large community flea market, artisans showcase, and yard sale. Also, the Abbie Greenleaf library has held book sale in years past. In addition, a cookout is provided by the Franconia Fire Department. A “duck race” down the Gale river as well as a fireworks display at the Dow after sunset happen round out the day-long celebration.

PARADE DATE/TIME: Saturday, July 7, 2018 1:00 PM
PARADE THEME: “Summertime fun in the White Mountains”
–ENTRY FEES NOT REQUIRED–

*Applications must be submitted for participation.
Deadline for application is 3:00 pm on Thursday, July 5th 2018.
