“Feeding the Family Organic Gardening Series” Opens This Spring in Nashua

The Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Hampshire (NOFA-NH), Grow Nashua, ReGenerative Roots Association, and The Greater Nashua Food Council are proud to present the “Feeding the Family Organic Gardening Series”. The series supports self-reliance, community resilience, and ecologically sound food production.

Farmer and NOFA-NH Board Member Ron Christie will be leading this lively set of workshops. Workshops begin March 6th at Nashua High School North. Ron is passionate about teaching people how to grow their own nutritious organic food. He is an avid four-season grower and loves sharing his experiences as a gardener and farmer.

In Ron’s nine-part series, participants will learn how to prepare the soil, increase their food yield, control pests and diseases without toxic synthetic pesticides, grow and harvest into the winter, and much more. People can register online for the entire series at a 15% discount or they can register for just those programs that are of particular interest. Registration and additional information is online at www.nofanh.org/gardeningseries.
