LRH Auxiliary Awards 2018 Scholarships
Annual Scholarship assists 5 regional graduates with $19,500.
Littleton Regional Healthcare’s Auxiliary awarded the Marion Edmunds award for $2,500 to a well deserving student and another $17,000 toward scholarships to four LRH employees and five high school seniors. All of the individuals receiving a scholarship are working to further their education in the healthcare field.
Each year the LRH Auxiliary supports the efforts of health care providers or those entering or returning to school to further their health care careers by providing scholarships. Scholarship funds are raised through various fundraisers organized through efforts of the LRH Auxiliary, and through proceeds from the Moose Ledge Gift Shop located at LRH.
2018 recipients
Students and LRH employees who received a scholarship this year include LRH employees – Carla Anderson, Amanda Boyd, Amy Dorr and Ronda Payette. Area high school students who received scholarships this year include Darcy Horne – LHS, Allie Millen – LHS, Cameron Bosse – WMRHS, Kylee Bailey – WMRHS, Adrianna Robinson – WMRHS (recipient of Auxiliary award and Marion Edmunds Award).

Littleton Regional Auxiliary
“The LRH Auxiliary is composed of more than 100 volunteer. The Men and Women raise funds that support Littleton Regional Healthcare” states Gail Clark. Gail is the President of the LRH Auxiliary. In addition to scholarships the Auxiliary provides clothing for patients treated in the emergency room. It supports the LRH Care-A-Van and North Country Women’s Health Conference. “We also provide diaper bags for new parents, books for pediatric patients, and annual support to the LRH Family Support Team.” These are a just few ways the Auxiliary supports LRH.
