‘Actor’s Nightmare’ Encore Performance

‘Actor’s Nightmare’ Encore Performance

Back for ONE NIGHT ONLY, this hilarious comedy previews in Littleton before competing in Concord

The Upstage Players invites audiences to The Actor’s Nightmare by Christopher Durang, presented at the Littleton Opera House on September 1st at 8PM. This 30-minute play was the star of an evening of shorts this past February. Upstage is breathing new life into the show as they prepare to perform in the New Hampshire Community Theatre Association’s One Act Festival on September 8th. They will compete against other theatres around the state for a place in next year’s regional festival.

Join us for this one night only experience to give this play the proper sendoff it deserves.

The Actor’s Nightmare

The Actor's Nightmare

The Actor’s Nightmare will be directed by Becky Cummings. Upstage Artistic Director Andrew Lidestri plays George Spelvin, a man who wakes up in his own worst nightmare. He’s starring in a play he’s never rehearsed, or in fact, even heard of, and he’s not an actor. But, it’s five minutes until showtime! The play finds the cast bouncing in and out of several classic plays, as George desperately tries to play a part he knows nothing about. The cast also includes local talent Meghan Bullard, Rosa Van Wie, and Owen Fogg.

This short evening is a great chance to enjoy the best Littleton has to offer. Dine out at one of our local restaurants, laugh at a hysterical short play, then head out for drinks, a stroll over the bridge, or catch a band playing at one of our other local venues. Don’t miss these laughs and you make us part of an exciting evening.

The performance will be ONE NIGHT ONLY on September 1st at 8PM. Seating for Upstage Players shows is now reserved. Tickets are $5 in advance and $6 at the door or choose your seats early by buying online at catamountix.com.
